据了解，北京共有24家医院被北京奥组委指定为奥运会定点医院，这些奥运定点医院在组织机构、工作制度、工作流程、双语标识、绿色通道、无障碍设施、语言服务能力以及兴奋剂、违禁药品管理等方面均达到了奥运规范标准。

    Jin Dapeng, chief of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games' medical support group, said all thedesignated hospitals have reached the Olympic standard in terms of organizations, working procedure, bilingual signs, "green passages", barrier-free facilities, and stimulants¹ management.

    据北京奥组委医疗保障组组长金大鹏介绍，目前，所有奥运定点医院在组织机构、工作流程、双语标识、绿色通道、无障碍设施、以及兴奋剂管理等方面均达到了奥运规范标准。

    上述报道中，designated hospital就是“定点医院”，“奥运会定点医院”就是designated hospital for the Olympic Games，或者Olympic designated hospital。Designated在这里就是selected or named for a duty，即“选定，指定”的意思，比如： designated website“指定网站“，designated textbook “指定教材”，等等。
