Flipped2 classroom (or flip1 teaching) is a form of blended learning in which students learn new content online by watching video lectures, usually at home, and what used to be homework (assigned problems) is now done in class with teacher offering more personalized guidance and interaction with students, instead of lecturing. This is also known as backwards3 classroom, reverse instruction.
翻转课堂(或翻转教学)是一种学生自学和老师辅导相结合的学习模式,学生在家观看教学视频学习新的知识,而原来需要带回家做的作业则改为在课堂上进行,老师的主要任务不是讲授,而是对学生提供更多有针对性的辅导,同时学生之间还能有更多的交流。因此,这种教学模式也叫做反向课堂、反向指导等。

In flip teaching, the students first study the topic by themselves, typically using video lessons prepared by the teacher. 在翻转教学中,学生先通过老师制作的教学视频自学知识点,到了课堂上,学生用学到的知识解决问题、做一些实践性的练习。在学生遇到困难时,老师会进行指导,而不是当场授课。辅助性的手段有:针对不同学生进行区别化指导,以及项目式学习。
