Chinese Vice¹ President Li Yuanchao has met with a group of war-displaced Japanese orphans³ who were raised by Chinese families after the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression⁴.

日本遗孤（遗华日侨），是指1945年日本战败投降后，日本侵略者撤退和遣返期间，遗弃在中国并被中国人抚养长大的日本孤儿，常用Japanese orphan²/ Japanese "left-behind orphan"/Japanese war orphan表示。
