Ning Zetao of China led all the way to win the 100-meter freestyle at the world swimming championships in a race missing two key competitors.

中国选手宁泽涛在世界游泳锦标赛中勇夺100米自由泳冠军！他的两位主要对手缺席了此次比赛。

 

“100米自由泳”用英文100-meter freestyle表示，freestyle表示自由泳，常见的还有自由泳接力（freestyle relay）、蛙泳 （breaststroke）、仰泳 （backstroke）、蝶泳（butterfly stroke）、侧泳（sidestroke）、花样游泳（synchronized swimming）、个人混合泳（individual medley¹）等。

 

当晚，宁泽涛凭借最后的强力冲刺（made a strong sprint）和完美的到边技术（the technique of finish touch）力压澳大利亚选手麦克沃伊，后者获得亚军。卫冕奥运冠军（reigning² Olympic champion）、美国选手艾德里安获得第七名。
