Yutong Bus Co., Ltd., a Chinese bus maker¹, announced that its driverless bus has completed a successful trial-operation on an intercity road in Henan Province.

近日，国内客车制造商宇通客车股份有限公司宣布，其无人驾驶大客车已在河南的开放道路上成功试运营。

 

这部配有2个摄像头（cameras）、4部激光雷达（laser radars）、1部毫米波雷达（millimeter wave radar）以及组合导航系统（integrated navigation system）的宇通大型客车在全开放环境的郑开大道（road linking Zhengzhou City with Kaifeng City）上安全行驶了32.6公里。该公司副总工程师汤望表示，无人驾驶大客车还可以自由切换至手动模式（manual mode）。

 

The driverless bus has passed all tests including identifying all 26 traffic lights on the road, automatically changing lanes and overtaking vehicles in neighboring lanes, the company said.

该公司称，这部大客车辨别出了途中26个信号灯，完成了自主换道、邻道超车等试验科目。
