成长和关爱——从《狮子王2：辛巴的荣耀》插曲“We Are One”谈起

《狮子王》无疑是迄今获誉最多的动画长片之一，其后续作品不断出现，同名音乐剧也在百老汇大获成功。2000年其续集《狮子王2：辛巴的荣耀》一经推出便好评如潮。在这集故事中，狮王辛巴已经长大成年。他治理荣耀大地，与妻子娜娜共同抚育女儿琪拉雅（Kiara）。琪拉雅继承了父亲的冒险精神，对世界充满好奇和憧憬。但是光明与阴暗永远并存于这个世界，成长不会总是一帆风顺。琪拉雅会如父亲一样经历风风雨雨，但最终会看到雨后美丽的彩虹，并在成长中体会到生命的可贵和宽容的伟大。

“We Are One”《我们是一家》是《狮子王2》的一首插曲，由辛巴、琪拉雅父女俩唱出，亦如当年穆法沙、辛巴父子俩在荣耀大地上的一段对话，深情、真挚，充满关爱。

小狮子琪拉雅天真无邪，一颗幼小充满幻想的心刚刚接触世界，难免遇到难题甚至危险。父亲辛巴及时教导，告诉她：“As you go through life you'll see. There is so much that we don't understand.”生活里难免出现各种各样意想不到的事情。“And the only thing we know is things don't always go the way we planned.” 世界并不按照我们期待的方向运行。“But you'll see every day that we'll never turn away when it seems all your dreams come undone.”即使梦想难以实现，父母也会永远在你身边。因为我们是一家人。

 同时辛巴也鼓励女儿树立勇气：“Even those who are gone are with us as we go on. Your journey has only begun. Tears of pain, tears of joy. One thing nothing can destroy is our pride, deep inside. We are one.”生命之旅刚刚开始，会经历苦痛，也会经历欢乐，但重要的是我们内心深植的荣誉感会让我们勇敢前行。“We are one, you and I. We are like the earth and sky. One family under the sun. All the wisdom to lead. All the courage that you need. You will find when you see. We are one.”我们就像天与地，不可分，当你意识到这一点，你会找到一切指引你的智慧，一切你需要的勇气。

成长是一生的话题。我们的成长都需要关心、指引。遇到困难，就像电影《狮子王2》所表现的一样：只要有家人、朋友的宽慰帮助，我们往往会很快重拾自信，找到前进的方向。孩子的成长更需要适时恰当的爱护。在变幻莫测的世界面前，他们是那样的弱小、单薄。成年人应当给他们创设一个健康的环境。

美国前总统夫人希拉里•克林顿曾写过一本书，题为“It Takes A Whole Village to Raise A Child”。这本书刚发表时，许多人不太明白这个标题到底是什么意思，一个孩子的成长需要动员一个村子吗？希拉里则坦言说：“I chose that old African proverb to title my book because it offers a timeless reminder² that children will thrive³ only if their families thrive and if the whole of society cares enough to provide for them.”她借用一句非洲谚语作为这本书的题目，就是希望籍此提醒自己、提醒全社会给孩子的成长提供一个温暖健康的环境。希拉里在民主党全国大会上解释说：“And we have learned⁴ that to raise a happy, healthy and hopeful child, it takes a family, it takes teachers, it takes clergy⁵, it takes business people, it takes community leaders, it takes those who protect our health and safety, it takes all of us.”

这些让我想起多年前达斯汀•霍夫曼在《克莱默夫妇》中抱着孩子冲过一个个街口冲向医院的镜头，也想到多年后西恩•潘在影片《我是山姆》中扮演的那位智力低下但心地善良的父亲。他们都为儿女的成长倾注心血。感谢世界上所有伟大的父亲和母亲，正是他们的爱使得孩子们健康成长，使得这个世界更加美好。
