A very strict1 officer2 was3 talking to some new soldiers5 whom6 he had7 to train. He had never seen8 them before, so he began: "My name is Stone, and I'm even9 harder than stone, so do what I tell you or there'll be trouble10. Don't try any tricks11 with me, and then we'll get on well together".
Then he went to each soldier4 one after another and asked him his name. "Speak loudly so that everyone can hear you clearly," He said12, "and don't forget to call me 'sir'".
Each soldier told him his name, until13 he came14 to the last one. This man remained15 silent16, and so Captain17 Stone shouted at him, "When I ask you a question, answer it! I'll ask you again: What's you name, soldier?"
The soldier was very unhappy18, but at last he replied19. "My name is Stonebreaker, sir" he said nervously20.
