Guillaume Dah Zadi, a striker from the top Bulgarian soccer team CSKA Sofia, would play on loan for Changchun Yatai for two months, the Chinese Super League side announced on Monday. Zadi, 1.86m tall and a native from Cote-D'ivoire, was born on January 1, 1978. Before going to CSKA Sofia, Zadi had played in various countries for many teams like FC Africa Sport Abidjan, FC Satellite Abidjan, FC Wydad Casablanca and EOGK Tunisie. During the 2005-2006 season, Zadi collected a record of 15 goals in 35 matches for CSKA Sofia. However, after Stoicho Mladenov became the manager in March 2007, Zadi was gradually sidelined. He once trained with Chinese Super League powerhouse Dalian Shide, but did not get much appreciation1. Nevertheless, Gao Hongbo, the coach of Changchun Yatai, is in favour of Zadi and fielded him in Saturday's home game against Tianjin, in which Zadi's skill, the ball control in particular, impressed all. Although Zadi did not score, Changchun beat Tianjin 1-0 and climbed to the top of the standing2 with 19 points. Liu Yuming, the president of Changchun Yatai, said," Since Zadi's contract with CSKA has not expired3, he will be temporarily on loan to Changchun Yatai for two months." Liu did not rule out the probability4 of a permanent transfer, saying that it would depend on Dah Zadi's performance during the next few rounds of league. 点击收听单词发音
