BEIJING - Chinese gymnastic team on Wednesday dispatched two-way delegations¹ to compete in both Moscow World Cup and China vs Australia matchup.

Triple world champion Cheng Fei leads the squad² for China vs Australia tournament, while world champion veteran Zhang Nan is among the team for World Cup. World Cup champion Li Ya is ruled out of the line-up for injury.

Li Ya, a specialist in uneven³ bars, suffered an injury in training on Tuesday and is probably to miss the national championships on June.

"Li was injured on uneven bars' landing in Tuesday's training. She tore the cartilage in shinbone and has to stop training for a period of time. She needs to rest for at least two weeks," said Zhang Peiwen, the head of the Chinese team.

The Moscow World Cup is slated⁴ for May 26-27. Following is the squad for World Cup:

Women: Zhang Nan (beam, floor exercise); Zhou Zhuoru (uneven bars); Liao Huifan (vault, floor exercise)

Men: Yan Mingyong (rings); Zhang Hongtao (vault)

Following is China's squad for annual Australian friendly:

Women: Cheng Fei; He Ning; Fan Ye; Yang Yilin; Zhang Xin; Han Bing.

Men: Lv Bo; Guo Weiyang; Du Wei; Tong Yingjie; Wang Guanyin; Wang Heng.
