1. Notice⁹ the past forms¹⁰ of the verbs¹¹ when you talk about the past, e¹.g. I visited Hong Kong in 2003 / I visited Hong Kong in 2003; I went shopping / I went shopping.

2. Remember also the use of did / did when asking questions about the past, e.g.: Did you like it? / Did you like it? ; What did you do there? / What did you do there?

3. Remember also apart from . . . / apart from . . . e.g.: What did you do in Hong Kong, apart from eating? / What did you do in Hong Kong, apart from eating?
