Friday, December 16 marks the launch of an exciting new festival at London's Southbank Centre.

China Changing will celebrate contemporary China and its creative influence and connections with the UK through art and culture.
The festival will run for three years, and will feature some of China's most exciting and
innovative1 artists and performers.
Members of the public are invited to take part in the launch activities, which will run throughout Friday.
At lunchtime, the oldest and largest Chinese youth orchestras in Europe, the
Pagoda2 Youth Orchestra, take to the Central Bar Foyer of the Royal Festival Hall. Their performance will be free and will feature music
fusions3 with folk songs, reggae and hip-hop involved.
At 5p.m., Hong Kong Dance Company will perform at the Clore
Ballroom4 of the Royal Festival Hall in a free show, demonstrating
excerpts5 from the company's
repertoire6.
