A new library of audio books of Chinese texts for primary and secondary school students was launched by China Media Group on Saturday.

 

一座中小学语文课本有声读物图书馆周六在中国广播电影电视集团的推动下成立。

 

The collection provides audio versions of all the core texts used by the 150 million primary and secondary school students across China. The recordings¹ were contributed by more than 70 broadcasters, hosts, and voice experts from China Media Group.

 

The 100-volume series was launched at the China Media Group concert hall in Fuxingmen, Beijing by Shen Haixiong, the director of China Media Group, and Chen Baosheng, China's education minister. During the launch, eight broadcasters from China Media Group read out classic texts from books included in the series.

 

The reading materials are now available at cnr.cn, cctv.com, cri.cn and moe.gov.cn.
