China's Postal¹ Service has issued two commemorative stamps to mark the country's inaugural² China International Import Expo, reports thepaper.cn.

The two special stamps both have a face value of 1.2 yuan (0.18 U.S. dollars). One one features the venue³ of the CIIE, the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The other features a giant panda named "Jinbao," which is the mascot⁴ of the event.

 

Commemorative envelopes honoring the CIIE have also been issued, along with other items such as coins and souvenir sheet sets.

 

Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a speech to the opening of the world's first import-themed national-level expo in Shanghai, calling it a "trail-blazing" move in the history of international trade.

 

The expo is due to run from November 5 to 10.
