Chinanews, Shanghai, May 23 – Zhu Min, CEO of Netxun Co., is a famous IT professional engineer in U.S. His WebEx system has beaten Bill Gates’ Microsoft. WebEx system was finally sold to Cisco System Co. at a price of 3.2 billion U.S. dollars. In 1996, Zhu has sold his Future Labs Co. at 12 million US dollars.
Zhu returned to visit Zhejiang University on May 20, and contributed 10 million US dollars to this mother school of his. Zhu’s life is full of miracles1. He went to be a farmer during the "cultural revolution", and he became a student of Zhejiang University in 1977. After he graduated, he chose to be a worker. In 1984, Zhu went to study in Stanford University of the US on a scholarship. Zhu also set up an innovation2 research institute in Zhejiang University, in order to, in his own words, “requite the care of his country for him”. He hopes more young people will get similar education opportunities like him.
