Chinanews, Beijing, October 19 – Many parents in China wish their kids could study abroad, and other Asian countries have become the first choice of ordinary Chinese families for the low cost involved.
For example, it requires about 50,000 yuan or 60,000 yuan to study in Malaysia for a year, 70,000 yuan or 80,000 yuan in South Korea1 or Singapore, and 100,000 yuan in Japan. Besides, foreign students are allowed to do part-time jobs to support themselves in many Asian countries, not to mention that many of them have similar cultural backgrounds to China. The certificates2 of South Korean and Japanese colleges are recognized by most countries in the world, which also make these colleges attractive3 to Chinese students.
