国务院近日批复同意在沈阳市、南京市、杭州市、武汉市、广州市、成都市开展服务业扩大开放综合试点，试点期为自批复之日起3年。

 

China's State Council said Tuesday that it has allowed a further six cities to launch comprehensive pilot programs for opening up the service sector¹. The six cities -- Shenyang, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Chengdu -- can carry out the pilot programs for a period of three years, starting from the date when their plans for the programs were approved, according to the State Council.

12月20日，国务院发布《国务院关于同意在沈阳等6个城市开展服务业扩大开放综合试点的批复》，同意在沈阳市、南京市、杭州市、武汉市、广州市、成都市开展服务业扩大开放综合试点，试点期为自批复之日起3年。

 

It urged these cities to speed up reform and opening up in the service sector, accelerate development of modern services, and forge new advantages in international competition and cooperation.

《批复》要求以上6个城市进一步推进服务业改革开放，加快发展现代服务业，塑造国际竞争和合作新优势。

 

China started the pilot program for opening up the service sector in Beijing in 2015 and added Tianjin, Shanghai, Hainan and Chongqing to the list for such programs in 2021.

2015年，北京市成为全国首个服务业扩大开放综合试点城市。2021年，天津市、上海市、海南省、重庆市也列入试点。

 

The service industry has seen fast growth in China in recent years, with its added value increasing 1.49 times since 2012.

近年来，中国服务业发展迅速，自2012年以来，服务业增加值增长了1.49倍。

 

The country's service trade grew 17.2 percent year on year to 4.92 trillion yuan in the first 10 months of 2022, data from the Ministry² of Commerce showed.

商务部的数据显示，今年1至10月，我国服务进出口总额4.92万亿元，同比增长17.2%。
