Chinanews, Guangzhou, April 24 – According to a survey by Searchina Co., Ltd,over half of the respondents agree that one’s sense of happiness is closely related to one’s income. To the question “Do you agree to the view that one’s sense of happiness depends on the amount of one’s income?” 10.4% of the interviewed say “Absolutely yes” and 44.8% say “Yes”. A mere1 2.2% of the respondents give the negative answer.

 

According to the survey, people with an income of 2,000 to 3,000 yuan per month can have a sense of happiness of an average degree, while those with a salary less than this are not so happy with their lives; those earning no more than 1,000 yuan per month are the least happy. On the contrary, people with an income above 3,000 yuan per month are most satisfied with their current lives, while those with an income of 6,000 yuan per month are the happiest.

 

In addition, females find it easier to feel happy than males. People aged2 from 40 to 49 are found to be the least happy among all age groups and those in their twenties the happiest.
