An explosion has hit an oil pipeline1 in south-east Turkey, killing2 two people and wounded one other, reports say. 报道称,土耳其东南部一条输油管发生爆炸,造成两人死亡、一人受伤。 The Kurdish separatist(分离主义者) group, the PKK, is suspected to have detonated(引爆,爆炸) a mine next to the pipeline, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported. The victims were travelling in two vehicles which caught fire as they passed the blaze, reports said. The pipeline carries oil from Kirkuk in northern Iraq to the port of Ceyhan on Turkey's Mediterranean3 coast. Reports say the explosion happened in Sirnak province, which borders northern Iraq and Syria. Oil flow was stopped while firefighters tackled(处理,抓住) the blaze, officials said. The Turkish NTV news channel reported that the explosive was remote-controlled, but this was not confirmed. PKK guerrillas(游击队) have carried out previous attacks on the pipeline - most recently last month. The last explosion disrupted oil supplies for several days. The PKK has waged(进行,开始) a 26-year insurgency4(叛乱,暴动) against the Turkish state. It is designated a terrorist organisation5 by Turkey, as well as the EU and US. 点击收听单词发音
