Chinanews, Beijing,March 30 - According to a report by Beijing Daily, China Institute of Publishing Sciences published its "Annual Report on Digital Publishing in China", the first ever in the country.

The report estimates that by 2010, about 50% of new books in China will be published in various E-book formats¹ that can be read on mobile phones, computers, handheld readers and PDAs.

It is estimated that 80% of Internet surfers in China will be able to download and purchase E-books online easily in 2008.
