Chinanews, Hong Kong, April 4 - According to a report by Wen Wei Po, China will develop and produce large aircraft, with a take-off weight of at least 100 tons. It is estimated that the dream of large aircraft totally developed and produced by Chinese will become reality by 2020.

Xi'an of Shaanxi Province and Shanghai have been selected for assembling large airliners¹ and cargo² planes, the last procedure in production, respectively.

However, though the jumbo aircraft will be developed and produced in China, most of their components³ will be bought from suppliers from around the world.
