Chinanews, Beijing, August 29 – Liu Changfa, a retired¹ automation professor living in the Changping District in Beijing, has completed a chef robot. With its help, even a kid will be able to produce very delicious dishes in minutes.

The robot is 1.5 m tall. A computer is installed in its legs, while the screen is placed on its chest. Inside its belly², there is a pot and an induction³ cooker. Operators can set the detailed⁴ cooking procedure via the computer, then it will start cooking, with a four-finger robot arm.

“There are several hundred recipes available in its menu,” said Liu, “enough to make a little kid a good cook.”

In September, Liu will take the chef robot to the national invention contest.
