Currently, many large white windpower generators can be seen along the highway from Urumqi to Turpan, which provide both cities with clean and efficient energy.
The Dennish government donated $3 million worth of windpower devices in 1989 to start the first windpower station in the region, for it had great expectations of the windpower here. Currently, about 1,600 sq km of areas have been included the windpower project, presenting Xinjiang unlimited3 potential in the development of this green energy. Xinjiang being one of the first batch4 of areas in the world to start developing windpower, it will absorb more investment and make greater achievement in this field in the future.
