Chinanews, Beijing, January 18 – More than 1,000 pieces of cultural relics¹ have been unearthed² during the construction of Olympic projects in Beijing.

Under the sites of Olympic projects, more than 700 ancient tombs of 1.18 million sq m were recovered, all of which are under careful protection right now.

These tombs date back from Western Han to late Qing dynasties, and the cultural relics include chinaware, pottery³, goldware, jadeware, bronzeware, etc.
