Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said on Friday that he "is very satisfied with" the excellent relations and cooperation between Cambodia and China, according to a spokesman¹ of the prime minister.

 

柬埔寨首相洪森的一位发言人周五表示，首相对于柬埔寨与中国之间良好的关系与合作表示“非常满意”。

 

The prime minister made the remarks during a meeting here with Song Tao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said the spokesman.

 

"The prime minister told His Excellency Song Tao that he was very happy to see good relations and cooperation between Cambodia and China and between the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and the Communist Party of China," the spokesman told reporters after the meeting.

 

Hun Sen, who is also the president of the CPP, said the close ties were born from the building of mutual² confidence and trust by the leaders of the two countries.

 

He also expressed profound³ thanks to China for constantly supporting Cambodia in the socio-economic development.

 

Song, for his part, said China and Cambodia are good friends, neighbors, brothers and partners.
