China will hold the 16th Lanting Forum¹ at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 2, 2016.

中国将于6月2日上午9:30召开第16届蓝厅论坛。

The theme of the 16th Lanting Forum will be "U.S.-China Relations: Direction and Momentum²".

Officials from the Chinese Foreign Ministry³, Financial Ministry, and Education Ministry will shed light on the 8th U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue as well as the 7th U.S.-China Consultation⁴ on People-to-People Exchange, which will be held next week.

Initiated⁵ by the Foreign Ministry, the Lanting Forum is aimed at providing a platform for government departments, international scholars, and social sectors⁶ to discuss international issues and Chinese foreign policies.
