北京发现一例H7N9感染病例

A new human case of the H7N9 avian flu strain¹ has been reported in Beijing, the city's health and family planning commission² announced on Thursday night.

北京卫生和计划生育委员会周四晚宣布，北京已经发现一例人感染H7N9禽流感病例。

The patient tested positive for H7N9 on May 26, and is still receiving medical treatment, the commission said.

H7N9 is a bird flu strain first reported to have infected humans in March 2013 in China. It is most likely to strike in winter and spring.
