据天文学会预报，御夫座阿尔法流星雨于本周光临地球。虽然御夫座阿尔法流星雨是个流量很小的流星群，但在晴朗的无月夜，在光污染较小的地方，耐心的公众还是能整夜欣赏到数十颗流星划过夜空的美妙景象。

周二晚间和周三早晨也是最佳观赏时间。但天文学家提醒说，对流星雨的预报还不像日食、月食那样精确，所以观赏者也有可能看不到流星。

在上面的报道中，meteor shower就是指“流星雨”。Meteor shower（流星雨）是一种celestial event（天文现象），是由cosmic debris²（彗星残骸）以极高的速度坠入Earth's atmosphere（地球大气层）而引起的。 此次流星雨的最佳观赏时间是在small hours（下半夜）。

文中的falling star就是指“流星”，也被称为shooting star，预计两个月内，该constellation（星座）还将有另一场meteor shower。此外，常见的天文现象还有sunspot（太阳黑子），full solar/lunar eclipse（日/月全食），annular solar eclipse（日环食），以及partial solar eclipse（日偏食），solar prominence³（日珥）等等。
