11月25日,北京市高级别自动驾驶示范区工作办公室公布北京正式开放首个自动驾驶出行服务商业化试点,并发布了配套管理政策。
Tech giant Baidu Inc and self-driving startup Pony1.ai are the first pair of enterprises granted permission to offer paid services and provide up to 100 self-driving vehicles for commercial pilot services within an area of 60 square kilometers in the Beijing Economic and Technological2 Development Zone.
科技巨头百度和自动驾驶初创企业小马智行成为首批获许开展商业化试点服务的企业,现阶段将在北京经开区60平方公里范围,投入不超过100辆自动驾驶车辆开展商业化试点服务。

企业可采取市场化定价机制。同时,在向乘客明确收费原则、支付方式等信息前提下,方可开启体验收费服务。
据央视新闻报道,当前试点服务的上下车环节需由乘客走到固定上下车站点(pick-up and drop-off points),而非自己随意设置。试点服务的整体定价,参考了专车和网约车的定价机制(pricing is similar to the level of premium5 ride-hailing services),并且初期优惠力度会非常大。
截至目前,北京自动驾驶累计安全测试里程接近300万公里。商业化试点(pilot run)是自动驾驶应用场景落地(commercial deployment6 of autonomous driving service)的最终环节,进而形成产业闭环。
安全可控是开展商业化试点活动的最重要的基本原则。
