Chinanews, Chongqing, May 25 – According to Chongqing Evening News, scientists recently discovered more than 100 dinosaur1 footprint fossils in a cliff in Chongqing. It is the first time that dinosaur fossils of the Cretaceous period had been found in the southwestern China
Zou Shiwu, ex-curator of the Chongqing Museum of National History, discovered these footprints together with 6 other scientists. There are different kinds of dinosaur footprints ranging from 11 to 35cm. The local land and resources bureau has verified that these footprint fossils to 100 million years.
