Chinanews, Shanghai, Aug. 16 – More than ten thousand of Chinese received liver transplantat from March 2005 to May 2007. Some 9,000 patients have submitted related information to Chinese liver transplant database.   China set up this database years ago, and many local hospitals like Renqi, Zhongshan and Ruijin hospitals in Shanghai have been registered in the database.   The database reveals that the success, or survival rate of liver transplant has been risen from 37% three years ago to 75% this year. Experts said that the technology of liver transplant achieved by China is advanced in the world.
