Chinanews, Beijing, December 4 – China Space Foundation (CSF) honored the people and organizations that had made great contributions to China’s lunar probe project with a total award of 8. A few years ago, CSF set a similar award for those who had made great contributions to China’s manned spaceflight.
The award was issued on December 3, in Beijing, and Hu Hao, the director of the Lunar Probe Project Center of the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense1, accepted the prize money on behalf of his colleagues. Luan Enjie, the chief conductor of the project, thanked CSF for its support to the project. “The success of China’s first lunar probe mission means that China has joined the club of deep-space probe that used to be exclusively open to only very few countries, and China will work harder to develop the space in a peaceful way,” said Luan.
