Chinanews, Guangzhou, March 6 – The local government of Guangzhou confirms that it will make every effort to lower real estate prices in Guangzhou to a minimum acceptable to the general public. Zhang Guangning, Mayor of Guangzhou, said to the press after the close of the Guangzhou Delegation1 panel meeting on the sidelines of the Fifth Session of the Tenth National People’s Congress, on Monday (March 5).
Zhang announced that a series of measures will be adopted, whereby more land will by provided for use in-building, low rent houses and low-cost affordable2 residential3 houses for middle –and low -income earners. “Our plan for building such houses for the five consecutive4 years to come will definitely lower real estate prices. There is no need to worry so much about the house purchase problem,” Zhang Guangning concluded.
