The report is based on the statistics of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of China, saying that the Chinese mainland has absorbed some $43.89 billion of investment from Taiwan businesspeople in the last 20 years, and the total trade volume between the two sides has reached $603.6 billion.

Actually, he has spent Spring Festival holidays for several years in Shanghai. It is nearly impossible to know how many Taiwan businesspeople have come to China to start a brand-new business, but surely there will be more of them in the future.
