| Oct. 26 - China Aviation Supplies Import and Export Group Corporation signed a framework agreement with the European aircraft maker1 Airbus to buy 150 A320 series airliners2 in Beijing on Thursday.
Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks with the visiting French President Jacques Chirac in Beijing on Thursday. The agreement was signed after the talks. It is one of 14 cooperation agreements signed on Thursday which range from aviation, nuclear power utilization3 to prevention of infectious diseases.
China and France also signed a joint4 statement on Thursday.
