Chinanews, Zhengzhou, September 26 – The first Boeing 747-200 cargo1 flight from Zhengzhou arrived at the Schwerin-Parchim Baltic Airport on the afternoon of September 24, 2007, announcing that the airport, bought by Jonathan Pang2, the president of LinkGlobal Inc, had resumed its operation after the purchase.
A delegation3 sent by the Henan provincial4 government took part in the opening ceremony of the airport. Pang is the first Chinese businessman to buy an European airport, and the flight from Zhengzhou to Parchim is also the first flight from Henan Province to Germany. From now on, there will be two chartered cargo flights from Zhengzhou to Parchim every week, and LinkGlobal Inc is negotiating with other airlines to increase the frequency of flights. In the near future, there will also be chartered passenger flights from Zhengzhou to Parchim, once every week.
