Chinanews, Beijing, Nov. 29 – Zhang Yi, a senior official from the Ministry¹ of Commerce, said on Tuesday that China would export 500 thousand automobiles² in 2007. He said that China could export 1 million automobiles annually³ in the next two years.

Zhang said that the Chinese government strongly supported export of Chinese cars. In 2006, China exported 300 thousand automobiles to 181 countries and regions worldwide.
