According to Forbes, Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper in the sitcom, tops the list, earning over 29 million US dollars in a one year period ending in June. 

 

Co-star Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard Hofstadter, follows Jim with $27 million US dollars. 

 

NCIS's action hero Mark Harmon finished in a four-way tie for third with earnings² of 20 million US dollars. 

 

Harmon is tied with two more "Big Bang Theory" stars - Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar - and former "Two and a Half Men" actor Ashton Kutcher. 

 

Of the top 15 actors ranked on Forbes's list, ten come from the world of sitcoms³. 

 

The Big Bang Theory stars dominate the list after restructuring contracts before the 2014-2015 season. 

 

CBS ultimately agreed to pay Parsons, Galecki and their co-star Kaley Cuoco a reported $1 million per episode, and their co-stars also received significant raises.
