中国第一台机器人交通警察在河北邯郸投入使用。
Three types of robots were unveiled by Handan police on Wednesday. There are patrol robots that can
navigate1 the streets
autonomously2. Equipped with intelligent cameras, they can spot traffic
violations3, give
offenders4 verbal warnings, and take photos of incidents
A customer service robot is designed to provide information and answer questions from the public at vehicle
registration5 centers. And small, portable, remote-controlled traffic robots can help manage the scene at a road accident by giving visual and audible directions to passing drivers.
The robots are expected to play a significant role in easing the burden on the country's human police officers, and to provide round-the-clock smart traffic management.
