Chinanews, Beijing, Mar1. 8 – Everyone faces a lot of troubles and problems in life and for women, their troubles and problems are even more than those of men. Most career women are constantly bothered by work pressure and various kinds of difficulties. A website, zhaopin.com, recently conducted an investigation2 along that live in Beijing. The result shows that among all the 20 problems selected, career women in Beijing dislike business trips most, the Beijing Daily reported.
“I can’t attend the party for I have to travel to Shanghai for work next week,” said Ms. Qiu, a PR manager at an IT company.
Apart from handling public relation affairs, Ms. Qiu also travels a lot at work. Many people envy her 120,000-yuan annual salary, however, only she knows what difficulties she encounters on the job.
“I have to get ready to solve any problems that might prop3 up in work at any time. No one knows what will happen tomorrow and where I will be. Since I came from Guangzhou last time, my skin has become worse than before. My boy friend also complains a lot these days that I spend too little time with him,” she said.
In fact, many career women have the same problems as Ms. Qiu. Due to frequent trips, they are constantly put under pressure both physically4 and mentally. Their life habits are thrown into disorder5. Being in different places, they have to get accustomed to the different climates, geographical6 features, living environments, as well as the different foods, which are detrimental7 to women’s physical health. Their physiological8 conditions and endocrine system are in disorder, which then affects their skin and body health. Since most career women have to work overtime9 or go on a business trip from time to time, they do not have much time to stay with their family. So taking business trips becomes a thing that they hate to do most.
Apart from business trips, “sex harassment10 from boss” and “dining with male colleagues” are picked as the second and third thing on the list, respectively, that bother career women. In addition, things like “whether they should give birth to a child” and “having to return home alone at night” also appear on the list as problems that career women often meet.
