Chinanews, Harbin, Mar1. 23 – Wang Lanpo, 105, and Meng Fanying, 103, who live in Chahayang Farm of Heilongjiang Province have been married for 86 years.

The record of world’s longest marriage was previously2 held by a British couple, who had lived together for 80 years. Wang's ID card show that he was born on July 10th, 1902.

Wang still clearly remembers his past. He said he got married when at 19, and had his first daughter at 21. His daughter got ill and died when she was two years old. If she were still alive, she should be 84. Their eldest3 son, Wang Pengju, 80, is his second child.

In some people's eyes, the farm where they live is too cold in winter to be unsuitable for people to live in. Currently there are 32 centenarians living in the region.
