Chinanews, Beijing, Apr. 5 – The second spot-check on China’s disabled population finds that there are 82.96 million disabled people in China, accounting1 for 6.34% of the country’s total population.
Deng Pufang, chairman of the All-China Federation2 of the Disabled, personally assumed leadership over the whole process of this spot-check, which involved nearly 100 thousand people conducting this check, and in which 319 units and 1,028 people participated were praised by the federation.
