Chinanews, Nanchang, May 23 – Luo Lan, a common citizen in Yichun, Jiangxi Province, recently opened China’s first training course of pole dancing. She was thus regarded as China’s first woman to popularize pole dancing.
Luo Lan was a teacher of Yichun College a few years ago. She has also opened China’s first pole dance club in Beijing, to be followed by one in Shanghai. When studying in university, Luo was not high and her weight reached 60 kilos. She tried every way to lose weight but failed. After she got married, Luo learned from a journal that people enjoyed having pole dancing in Britain and so she started to practice on pole dancing. The opening of China’s first training course of pole dancing has aroused a wave of arguments on this issue. Those who support it believe it is a positive exercise and needs to popularization, while those who oppose it say pole dancing is pornographic and needs to be prohibited. Many people refuse to give their comments on pole dancing, while some young girls indicate that they want to have a try. Currently1 Luo hopes such a club can be established in her hometown.
