Chinanews, Shanghai, June 5 - A recent survey conducted by Shanghai Municipal Women's Federation1 shows that nearly 70% of families in Shanghai prefer green and pollution-free food. When decorating their houses, 50% of them will choose eco-friendly materials rather than economical ones. A large quantity of private cars in Shanghai are also eco-friendly cars.
In fact, more than 76% of Shanghai families are willing to purchase eco-friendly commodities, despite the fact that some of these commodities are too expensive. More than 58% Shanghai families are conscious of the importance of saving water and energy, though not all of them are equipped with energy-efficient electric appliances.
