Chinanews, Hohhot, July 12 – Bao Xishun, the naturally grown tallest man in the world (2.361 m tall), will get married today at the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan in Erdos, Inner¹ Mongolia. Bao has carefully planned his wedding ceremony, which will proceed² in traditional Mongolian³ style.

Bao is 56 years old, and he thought he would be too tall to find a proper wife, until he met Xia Shujuan. Though Xia is very young (born in 1979), and not very tall (1.68 m), they love each other.

Several rehearsals⁴ were held before the wedding. Every time, Bao worked very hard in order to make the ceremony a great hit.

“I will treasure everything I have now, as it has long been a dream for me to live a life like this,” said Bao.

More than 100 reporters from both home and abroad will attend the wedding to give live broadcast.
