Chinanews, Beijing, August 28 – A report on the health conditions of 183 Chinese enterprise owners was published in Beijing, finding that 41.5% of these owners are affected1 with hyperlipoidemia, 21.8% of them with hypertension and 12.5% of them with hyperglycemia.
Obviously, wealthy Chinese don’t enjoy sounder health than ordinary Chinese, for they have lived under strong pressures and an irregular life. In the survey, more than 67% of the respondents believe that they have traded health for a successful career, and more than 83% them would trade health back with all their money. According to their doctors, none of them is completely sound in mind and limb. Besides, 47% of them suffer from insomnia2, especially females. Some 51% have psychological problems like feeling extremely depressed3 or lonely. By the way, more than 30% of them take very little exercise.
