Chinanews, Beijing, December 19 – As most of the Chinese white collars can’t afford the time for dating due to their demanding jobs, online matchmaking agencies¹ have become more and more popular. However, many Chinese also seek one-night stands or extramarital sex via the Internet.

It is estimated² that 70% of one-night stands nowadays result from online chats.

So far, matchmaking has become a huge industry in China, with nearly 30,000 matchmaking agencies, including 6,000-odd online ones.

Most of the post-1980s generation prefer online to traditional matchmaking..
