Chinanews, Guangzhou, Dec. 20 – According to Nanfang Daily, Wang Hongwei, a professor from Huanan Normal University, said that women in Guangdong Province have become more conservative1 than 10 years ago.
Wang said that although Guangdong’s economy has developed well, women in Guangdong have become more conservative. More and more women think men are the central character in the family. A latest survey also indicates that more women agree to the idea that “women are more intelligent than men” and more women think it is more important to have a good husband than to have a good job. Statistics2 also show that more women participate in farm work than men.
