All airports across the UK are expected to be open from 0700 BST, air traffic controllers have said. 英国空中交通管制员称,英国所有的机场将于当地标准时间7点准时开放。 ![]() Air passengers have faced more disruption this week Flights were grounded overnight in Northern Ireland, parts of western Scotland and the far south-west of England because of volcanic1 ash. But the ash cloud moved west overnight and has cleared UK airspace, air traffic controller, Nats, said. Last month, thousands of Britons were stranded2(搁浅) overseas after ash shut down airspace across Europe. This latest disruption(分裂,破坏) started on Monday, and has confused many air travellers as authorities repeatedly closed, then reopened, airports. It is understood all airfields3(飞机场) in Northern Ireland, including Belfast, plus Islay, Campbeltown, Ronaldsway, Lands End and the Isles4 of Scilly will remain in the no-fly zone until 0700 BST on Thursday. At 0100 BST, Glasgow reopened and planes took to the skies again in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening. The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said airports in the Irish Republic were due to begin reopening at 0400 BST. In a statement, Nats said: "The no-fly zone imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA民用航空管理局) tracking the high density5 area of the volcanic ash cloud, has moved west overnight and has now cleared UK airspace. "According to latest information from the Met Office, from 0700 today all UK airfields will be available. "We continue to maintain close dialogue with the Met Office and with the CAA, which is responsible for imposing6 no-fly zones." 点击 ![]()
