我国第三艘航空母舰下水命名仪式6月17日上午在中国船舶集团有限公司江南造船厂举行。经中央军委批准，我国第三艘航空母舰命名为“中国人民解放军海军福建舰”，舷号为“18”。
 

 

China launched its third aircraft carrier on Friday in Shanghai.

6月17日,我国第三艘航空母舰下水命名仪式在上海举行。

 

It is China's first domestically-made carrier that uses catapults. With a full-load displacement¹ of more than 80,000 tonnes, the carrier is equipped with electromagnetic catapults and arresting devices.

福建舰是我国完全自主设计建造的首艘弹射型航空母舰，配置电磁弹射和阻拦装置，满载排水量8万余吨。

 

Approved by the CMC, the Fujian was given the hull² number 18.

经中央军委批准，福建舰舷号为“18”。

 

The new carrier will conduct mooring³ tests and sea trials as scheduled.

该舰下水后，将按计划开展系泊试验和航行试验。

 

Currently, the PLA Navy operates two carriers – CNS Liaoning and CNS Shandong.

此前，我国已有两艘航母，分别为“中国人民解放军海军辽宁舰”和“中国人民解放军海军山东舰”。
