4月14日召开的国务院常务会议通过《中华人民共和国市场主体登记管理条例（草案）》，为培育壮大市场主体和促进公平竞争提供法治保障。

A State Council executive meeting on April 14 passed a draft regulation on the registration¹ management of domestic market entities². It aims to provide rule-of-law safeguards for developing market entities and boost fair competition.

We will transform the growth model, upgrade quality and performance, and make growth drivers more robust⁵. We will accelerate the building of a modernized⁶ economy, strengthen protection of property and intellectual property rights, set up a high-standard market system and improve mechanisms⁷ for fair competition. All this will fully⁸ motivate all types of market entities.
